A 'Dynamic' Dynamic Listbox

This 3 page article was my first PHP publication, and my first in a European Magazine. The magazine was available in newsagents in selected European countries, and via subscription in Australia. Needless to say, the publisher were kind enough to send me a copy.

Individual items can, and always will be grouped into certain categories. Take fruit for example. Plums, nectarines and peaches fall under the stone fruit category. Wouldn't be great if our users could select the category of fruit they wanted from a listbox, and the options available in a second listbox contained only the fruit that pertained to that category? Well that's what we're going to do in this article.

Publication: International PHP magazine
Issue: February 2005
